Proudest Singing Teacher in Louth!!
This last summer session of RIAM singing exams was the most successful to date at idvocals.
We all know the result on the certificate doesn’t mean everything and it is important to remember that doing a singing exam isn’t a competition against other singers, it’s a personal development exercise. So what I was most proud about was that each of the 27 students battled through their nerves and did themselves and their months of hard work justice.
As it turned out the average score across the 27 was 90%!! a Distinction. So that means that every single person got a very high honour or a distinction. That blew my mind! So so proud.
Also the icing on the cake was that yesterday I received an email from the RIAM to say that Barry Murphy received a high achiever award for his Grade 5 performance.
My students ROCK!
